Additional information on Alert 64 Washoe County Board of Equalization ALERT: #64a Dear Fellow Incline Village & Crystal Bay Property Owners, In the last few days the County Clerk has sent to all property owners who have filed an appeal, an "acknowledgement of appeal". This acknowledgement of your appeal is normal procedure to let you know your appeal has been accepted and includes a request for more information. As a result of these notices we have had a number of phone calls and emails asking if the appellant needs to do anything or to provide information. This message is to inform those of you who have signed the form appointing Tom Hall for representation, that there is nothing you need to do. Attorney Tom Hall will be representing all property owners in this mass appeal and will be filing a response to the County for requested information. You don't need to fill out forms, write letters, or appear to testify. It is however VERY IMPORTANT that you make an effort attend the hearings beginning on the February 16th. We need your support and the Board of Equalization needs to see a room full of property owners showing their concern about the extraordinary property increases we have suffered in the past and that are now compounded with another 8% for the coming year. We need you support, so please try to be there. Regards, Ted Harris Ted Harris, Tax Revolt Committee Chairman PS. Click here for Alert 64. PPS.
