Last week in Alert #208, we announced that the State Board of Equalization (SBOE) will be hearing our 2006-2007 tax year case on June 10, 2009.

If you are planning to attend, we would suggest that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time, as the hearing room will only accommodate 60 persons.

We are continuing to do everything legally possible to get a roll-back of ALL residential properties in the Incline Village and Crystal Bay area to their 2002-2003 assessed property valuation. This roll-back for the tax year 2006-2007 would result in a refund for most of the properties.

We will send another Alert as soon as possible after the scheduled SBOE hearing to inform you of the any decision that has been made.
